RETS Server Administration
Stratus RETS Server administrative tools allow MLS staff easy management, usage monitoring, and control of data access.
The MLS creates secure accounts for third parties who need access to their data for products the MLS offers its members. The MLS controls each vendor's access to listings, photos, agent and office rosters, or public record information, and specifies query fields, viewable and reportable fields, and sort formats. The MLS can further restrict a vendor's access, providing only a particular portion of MLS data. A vendor's privileges may allow access, for example, to available properties only, or to a single office's listings.
To manage the RETS server's use and performance, the MLS may limit the number of listings a user can access in a single session or within a particular time-frame, and restrict access frequency and time-of-day.
Stratus RETS monitoring tools allow administrators to view usage reports, queries performed, and listing volume for authorized users.
